Not good
Arrived after 6 PM and had to find our site. The local dogs were in full chorus most the night, the train is a close neighbor and the sound is terrific. Our picnic table BBq was missing the next morning. Stayed one night.
What a cosy invirement. And superub staff!
My wife is a school teacher whom has had an urgent need for a place to stay in our motorhome, and Bar S came to our resquew. They even help us with the hook up. Thanks Guys!
Between the highway and the RR tracks
This park in Milan (right next to Grants) is nestled between the railroad tracks on the north and I25 on the south. Roads and sites are gravel. Nice and level. No playground. The 'picnic area' is a table under a canopy. There are no picnic tables or fire rings at the site.
I give it 3 stars because it does have 3 nice showers (actually 1 men's, 1 women's, and 1 handicapped). Kind of few for 62 sites, but still very nice ones. They are full service--toilet, sink and shower all in one. It also has a nice laundry.
Most of the sites are drive thrus, with a pine tree between each site. That is the shade. Very friendly hosts. And the price is good, although they charge $2 for each person above 2. It is a Good Sam park, which is worth $1.70 off your evening's rate.
