Traveler Reviews
Always good
Very nice and comfortable. Friendly staff, close to everything, pet friendly. Just wish it had some grass but it is the desert. Full hookups. This is the second time staying here and I believe we will be staying here anytime we come to El Paso.
Reviewers are mostly correct
First off, impossible to get to this park. Once here, the staff was very nice, but yes, using Passport America requires cash. Very hard to make turns for a 40' rig towing. Haven't left yet and am not looking forward to it. Only saving grace, the dog park is nice - no grass, but good shade.
Not too satisfied
Google map directions brought me straight here so no problems there. Security guard was helpful. Amenities are good. Confused about wifi and how it's used only around the office. Thought maybe could connect from pull thru site but no password provided by the guard. He said have to get the code when office opens. Well that's when we leave. Price advertises $42 on website but no mention of $4 per person extra charge over 2 people. Too highly priced.
Mission Park RV, El Paso
The young lady that help us check in - Yanla (?), was very helpful. Too busy sightseeing to use pool or laundry facilities. A little disappointed we were not told when making reservations, that using Passport America would be cash only. It would also be nice if they had picnic benches at the pull through sites. Security is great here.
A little difficult to find, due to I - 10 freeway.
It's a good park!
The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is it's not a resort. What I like the most is that they have plenty of pull throughs. Both times I've stayed here, it has been a breeze. What I mean is, easy to get parked, easy to get out. It's right off Interstate 10. Now, a side note. As of July 2014, I-10 is undergoing a massive facelift so I'm not sure is the new on and off ramps right by the park will be up to date for you. Getting here though has been super easy. They do allow pets and also have a pet free parking zone for those not traveling with pets. You just can't go wrong with Mission RV. It's a really good park.
