Too noisy
Sites are close together and grass is uncut. No one respects campground rules. Lots of loud motorcycles. Their website is misinforming-states pull throughs are $50 and Good Sam discount is $45. Not so. They charged us $50 a day. It is conveniently located right in Cody, however there appears to be a few nice campgrounds here. Very dusty because no one enforces the speed limit, especially their own maintenance personnel.
Good stop
Nice place. Very crowded and not much turn around room. Very pricey. Too rich for my blood
Great experience
Very nice people running a first class camp ground. Walking distance to Buffalo Bill Museum. We will be back definitely!
Good Value and Very Friendly
Very good campground and staff is very helpful. If you want a convenient and friendly place to stay, Ponderosa is hard to beat. Very busy during the day. Very quiet at night.
Staff really tries to be helpful.
Four adults in high season on premium concrete pad w/Good Sam - $49.xx per night.
drive pass
a horrid place, our site was a mud hole from their sprinkler system. cash only, the wi-fi DID NOT WORK EVEN IN THE HOT SPOT. the toilet stall was so small that i had to leave the door open to use the toilet.TRUCK NOISE ALL NIGHT LONG. the worst place we stayed on our five week trip cross country.
Tidy and in town
Open April 15 to October 15. This in-town campground is a full service place: there is a store, a really cute playground, lots of trees. The sites are a bit snug; in fact, we couldn't get back into ours when we came back at night because of the way people had parked their trucks and a tree at the edge of our campsite. The showers are ample; they have 2 stalls so you can store your clothing and keep it dry. Water pressure was great and there was lots of hot water, even in the morning rush. The bathroom was bright and clean. You are only a few blocks from the wonderful Cody Museum. Concrete pads are between each site with gravel parking spots. Each site has a picnic table but there are no fire rings. My husband thought the men's shower room was cold.
Cash only. Good Sam park.
