Great for hiking
This is a huge park with many scattered sites. The campground sits on top of a hill; hard to find a level site, but worth it. 159 of the sites are elctric; 13 are non-electric. Sites can accommodate a 50' unit. It's also hard to find the campground; follow the signs to Old Man's Cave and it is near that. The swimming pool wasn't open when we were there, but it is near the lodge and is open to registered campers.
We hiked the awesome canyons and the cliffs. There are 9 hiking trains on the park, ranging from easy (2) to difficult (1), but 6 of them are rated moderate.
Camping is fully operational from April to October. Call 866-644-6727 for reservations.
