Poor service, high price

Jeebus, what a dump and what a bunch of unhelpful staff.

We booked this location last year for the eclipse.

So we arrived the day before, as arranged, and the check in booth had 2 staff members in it, and nothing, apparently, much else going on. It took nearly 20 minutes to get to the point where we could proceed to choose a site. Of course, they blamed the computer.

Then we asked about firewood in the store. Despite the fact that every camp site has a fire pit, they had no fire wood and no idea where some could be bought.

Next day, we find out why they blamed the computer. An 'Internet Room' is offered (at these kind of rates they most definitely should have park-wide wifi, but I digress). It's not worth even trying to use the 'Internet Room' wifi. It's almost impossible to log in, and even when one finally does, the data rates are worse than old-fashioned dialup modems. And we were the only ones who were trying to use wifi, so it's not about overuse.

We walked a propane tank to the propane fill up point (having checked that propane was being filled at that time). No, we can't fill up propane tanks, we've been too busy. Why not post a notice to that effect rather than have me walk half a mile with a propane tank?

We had an awe-inspiring time watching the eclipse, but no thanks to the jokes who run this place.
