Trailer park Vs campground
My family and I went camping at Round Top. When went to the store to register for the use of the pool, the staff was rude and disrespectful to an older lady at the store who asked a simple question. The pool cost $6.00 each for our family to swim in, $6.00 for Put-Put which was falling apart. The park was the only thing that the campground didn't charge for which only had swings and a slide. From my understanding the campground is under new management. From what I seen the rude staff needs go. The campground is part of a trailer park yet it also has people living in the campground. Was it campground turned into trailer park? My family and really felt out of place and uncomfortable. It was not a friendly campground.

we had problems at another campsite so we called drummer boy to see if they had any openings for tent sites. they said yes and to come over to check out the sites. the staff was very friendly and helpful and let us check out the sites first. the price was affordable too. we are planning to come back next year and we are thinking about renting a cabin. you guys and girls rock. thanks for everything.
great camp site
We just returned from our stay at round top.7/31 to 8/4/11. We had a deluxe cottage. It was fully supplied with all that was promised. The grounds were well kept and the staff very helpful It is close to the battlefield and all other sites in Gettysburg. The price was great with the on line coupons.WE enjoyed it so much we plan to come back in the fall and next summer.
Round Top Campground
The park was in disrepair when we stayed here. However, that was some time ago. I can say that this park, as well as Drummer Boy Resort a few miles away is owned by Diversified Industries LLC. The highway is adjacent to the park and it does get very noisy at times.
