Hugh sites
As usual a wonderful state park. We pre-registered via the sc state park's email. This allowed us to just pull into our site and set up before the spring shower showed up. Our pull-thru site had a HUGH front yard with more than enough room for a provided picnic talble and fire pit and our golf cart, chairs and table. Since we haul a toy hauler we prefer longer sites so we have room to put up screen porch on the ramp and a place to park the truck. This had ample space for all of our needs. The view to Lake Russell was partially obscured because SC parks don't limb up their trees but both of us could still enjoy a view across the lake to the wooded bank on the other side of the cove.
The basics. The sites have 30 amp service with 110 breaker and great water pressure. You will want to hook up the regulator. The isn't sewer hook up but there is a dump station for both the campgrounds. There is also a least 1 bathhouse for each campground that is basic but very clean.
The park store offers loaner fishing equipment and board games. Ther are tennis courts, basketball courts, hiking trails nada very nice swim beach.
Even though this park is in an out of the way part of the state you won't be disappointed if you are looking for a relaxing weekend.
