KOA
Great park for all. Hiking trail, pond for fishing and boating, pool etc. very clean and well kept.
Perfect place to visit the Charleston area
Nice park with a large lake. We were in space 41 which at the end of a row, giving us a larger grass area with a large tree. The positioning of this site also allowed us to use or DISH satellite. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed a week in a 36' 5th wheel.
Good Place, overpriced.
We stayed here for three days in March and really enjoyed our stay. The RV park is pretty standard, full hookups, cable, and *gasp* WiFi that works! Our space was on the 'B' row and it was pretty quiet.
The laundry room was small, but adequate and clean. The playground was decent. The dog run was amazing, simply one of the best.
I have two complaints. The first is they don't offer a weekly rate (normally one day free), the second is the daily rate is just expensive. We would have stayed for a whole week, but at $59 a day it just was not worth it to extend our stay.
Would I recommend this park? Absolutely. Would we come back? Yes.
Informational: We travel in a 36' Class A RV
Nice place
We stayed here in a motor home. We stayed in spot 15 which a friend had advised was the best spot in the park. She was right! It was one of the few shaded spots. Nice pool. Fishing pond. Wifi was a little tricky getting signed on since the page icons wouldn't load correctly.
Nice trailer park, I mean campground
This KOA has a lot going for it. Nice nature trail, large lake, indoor heated pool, friendly people, 10 miles from downtown Charleston. Unfortunly, it also has many permanent RVs that makes it feel more like a trailer park. Good wi-fi, cable TV, water pressure, large sites. Lots of construction & traffic going on for a while, too.
