Double Duty RV Park
Have lived here nearly 2 years now. Quiet, secure park near the city but away from the bustle and traffic. Only 4 miles from everything, though - medical, shopping (Walmart Supercenter and much more), golf course and such. It's peaceful here, and rates are more than competitive. No loud roads nearby and it's gated, so no drive-throughs. WIFI is fast and stable. Laundry comes back from the service neatly folded or hung.
A little community of kind, considerate people. Owner lives on-site and goes out of her way to see that we have what we need.

We stayed at Double Duty and/or Mimosa Valley everytime we are in the area due to work. We have a home base in another area and stay at this RV Park when working in the area. We have stayed as long as a year on one of our stays. The thing is when we head out to our home base, we don't have to worry about any of our property. The facility is cozy and has a gate. They also have security cameras as if they need them :)
We can leave all our stuff there including cars, bbq grills, stuff in the bed of our pickup and no on ever bothers it. It is the quitest, most convenient place we have stayed. Thank you and we will be back on our next rotation!

Renter Beware
Double Duty RV Ranch is NOT the current name . . . It's Mimosa Valley. Now go check reviews on Yelp for Mimosa Valley RV Park.
Initially visited the site and paid in advance for what I thought would be the perfect place to rent. Then, attempted to visit the site to show a friend and it turned into the most bizarre events one could imagine. The owner (Patti) is very rude has some serious anger issues. Had I read the reviews on Yelp beforehand, I would never have bothered. What a waste of time and energy.
P.S. , Patti claims to be a Christian which makes me ROFLOL.

Owner was so helpful in getting us in and set up. The location is fantastic. I could not get any closer to town and be this private. I love it. I even have deer came by my camper. So beautiful. Thank you for helping us get settled in!

The owner Patty has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS or BUSINESS ETHICS. It might be a pleasant place if you enjoy being yelled at.

I only dealt with Kim's son. Never dealt with her until she wanted his money back. The son made reservations for last available site and failed to show up. In the meantime, I turned down 3 other callers for that space. Deposit was not refunded. "Kim" wanted the deposit back. This review is retaliation for her not getting her way.
I can also post messages where she later apologized and said that she would remove her review. She did not.

KIM M never even dealt with me in the beginning. Her son mad a reservation for our LAST available site. He did not show. In the meantime, I turned down 3 calls for a site. I did not refund her son's deposit. This is when Kim got involved and called me names etc. I still have the voicemail. I also have the messages that she sent including the last one where she said that she acted in haste and would remove negative reviews. She did not. This is just a retaliation for not getting what she wanted. You get those in every business. Have a blessed life

Shade Trees and Quiet
I work a lot of hours and love being able to come "home" after work. We have our little group BBQ once a month. I have a lot of shade trees which help with summer bills. The wifi could be better but all in all I love this place and have been here for 3 years! I will stay until we relocate with our jobs. Thanks to the Duty's for providing such a wonderful quiet place.

Me and my buddies have been here since it opened. Don't know when our job will require us to leave, but until then we will be here. I don't have to worry about leads gettin stolin off my truck. Good people/family that run this place. Will always recomment

Been There Since They Opened
I've been living here since they opened in 2009. I really like the limited space, i know that it will never be over crowded. My group has been here awhile, it's like our HOME AWAY FROM HOME. Thank you Double Duty!

Rent is paid before parking in the GATED RV Park. This gentleman wanted to bring guest into the gated entrance when his rent had not even started yet. He was calling other guests in the park to come let him in the gate as he did not have a code because again, his rent day had not yet arrived. You get a customer code upon parking and date rent begins, not before. The other guests were calling me as they knew this man seemed unethical. He was claiming to be on the local law enforcement yet wanted to bulldoze his way into park. We pride ourselves on providing gated secure rv parking. There are no exceptions to rules regarding gate code. Most people understand this. The ones that do not are the ones that usually stir up the most dust. Just saying. By the way, I do claim to be Christian. I also claim to be a woman business owner striving to provide a safe atmosphere for men as well as a place for women to feel safe. I would think that since he had a family that he would appreciate the efforts we go to to keep the small, private, gated, rv community park safe.
