Traveler Tips

Traveler Reviews
Very nice park
We travel in a 45 ft rv with a 30 ft stacker. We had no problem getting in to the paved sites. The park was very clean and just a tip if your going to stay on a Sunday they give out free donuts!
Excellent Park!
We love this park & camped here this weekend. This is our second time to camp here in 2014. They are very friendly and the park is very secure with gated entry and police patrol. We especially appreciated the way they called us when were on our way there. Because we were getting there after the office closed, they told us where our check-in packet would be & told us the gate code in case we were later than 7:00.
Camping at the vineyards
The park is beautiful and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. The parking pads are concrete. We stayed here a week in our 40 foot motorhome. Pets are welcome. We will return!
Great spot on the lake.
Perfect spot on the lake. Clean and well kept grounds. Very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely will stay again if in the area

Best Park in Dallas Area
Shady, level lots in a beautiful park along the lake. Swim, fish, hike or go to the area attractions! We love this park and the wonderful staff.
Customer service
Tommy called us the day we were suppose to arrive to let us know that there was an issue with our spot. However if we would work with them they would work with us. They wanted to place in a space that was not the best but, in two days move us to a upgraded spot at no extra charge. When I explained we were going to be a day late anyhow he said no problem they would credit us for that day.
As it turned out the day we arrived they had a better spot open up and we could move there and he would still honor the move to a upgraded spot. We ended up just staying in the first spot because we did not want to move just because of the hassle of moving.
We have arrived at other places without match as a warning to find out we got moved to a crap spot , so the fact we got a phone call means everything.
I might note the only thing bad about the first spot they were moving us to was it was smaller and a little tougher to level out from what I could see, so not really that bad!
We would stay here again no problem, close to stuff and very nice crew working here.
My hometown
As a local resident,we used this camp as a staging area to break in our new RV, I gotta say this park is excellent on so many levels. The only "word of warning" we have local wildlife so don't let your dogs out or off leash without supervision. A coyote almost came up and said hi to us. The views of the lake, the facilities and downtown are excellent, I would highly recommend you visit!
Great campground
Park and facilities is maintained well. Staff is very helpful and WiFi works well. We have stayed here 3 times for a week and will stay here again in the future. You need to book online and early to get a shaded lot.
