Awesome Part of California

We have stayed here twice over the years and have enjoyed it both times. We found it in our Trailer Life Directory as we were passing through in 2005. We fell in love with Jedediah Smith State & National Park and went back in August 2010.

The park is a bit older and some of their spots are a little tight for big rigs but I had minimal difficulty getting ours in. The folks in the office were very helpful with local information and the rate was reasonable.

In our opinion the most majestic Redwoods in California are just a short drive from this RV Park. Make sure you drive the road to Stout Grove. It is a 6 mile drive right though the heart of a fabulous grove of Redwoods.
Hiouchi is a great place to stay while enjoying the beauty and is also less than 10 miles from Crescent City and the Pacific Ocean.

One of our favorites

Every year we spend a week in the Harriman/Kingston area working. The last five years we have parked at Caney Creek. It is one of our favorite RV Parks. Everything is concrete with great hookups and an absolutely beautiful setting on Watts Bar Lake. The folks at the front are always easy to deal with too. The only drawback is that it is a bit pricey.
We heartily recommend Caney Creek RV Resort.
