20 minutes from Vegas and 5 minutes from Hoover Dam it is hard to beat this location. The campground is great except the sights are narrow. Great view of the lake and very close to the beaches and marina. Price is great for here at only 32 a night, we reserved 4 nights and liked it so much we stayed an additional 3 nights, highly recommend!
the campground is very nice with fences around the whole location and each spot is paved with very good HOOKUPS including WiFi. Employees are super nice and helpful, we enjoyed our stay here and if we return to New Orleans will use this site again.
The camp ground is in a very nice spot north of Saint Augustine with easy access to the beach but just needs some attention. The camp ground is unique as it looks like it was literally cut into an ocean side Forrest with all spots very private and shaded but it looks like it was built in the 70s and not updated much since then with several homesteaders with campers that look more trailer park and less camp resort. The WiFi only really worked at the clubhouse and not throughout the campground as advertised, the pool and playground are nice just a little dirty. All in all not bad if you want to stay close to the beach but you are paying for location not necessarily the "camp resort"
Small park with a great little pond good for fishing and alligator watching. If you like golf bring your clubs for the course right next to the campground.
