One night sleep over is all!

Wow $39 bucks for electric and water hard for me to believe.
Also you don't even have a sewer hook up, cable or wifi.
It has easy access to I-39 and also that is all you can hear here.
But I need a place to sleep over for one night and this area north is void of good rv parks..

The lady working in the store is very nice park seems well keep. The back part a long
Wisconsin River is for people staying here full time if your passing thru you get to
look a I-39.

If I was passing this way again and had to I'd stop for a night it easy to get here.

Great little town.

If you reserve a spot make sure you check again before arriving.

Not big rig friendly

They gave me two sites to stay a night. Trying to be very helpful.
People there are great.
To get there the county has you routed through a neighbor hood
with tight turns. I figured after I was going down there path by the way people where staring
that some thing wasn't right and in one of the sharp turns I got scratches down my full body paint job.
The great people at gate even said I've never seen one that big in here.
Great lake all the camper where there for a fishing tournament sounded fun.
People at gate where great.

Parke County has 39 covered bridges and grist mills too. Lots of history in this area.
We plan to come back and find another park close to Rockville to see more of a very pretty area.

Great City Park

Very nice city well maintained. Nice big sites we stayed in 14 which was to shady to have satellite, but for a few days with out TV that's okay. Saw the Chanute Air Force(decommissioned) Museum great museum, but to bad it's closing at the end of the year. Lot of places to eat has all the typical fast food place, Wal-mart and stuff like that. We don't eat out much so can't comment on it.
$25 dollars a night $125 a week and you can stay longer didn't check on the price. I would stay a couple weeks here. Nice couple that are host been running the place for 17 years.
Didn't use washers but it had 2 washers 2 dryers
Maybe three showers looked clean we don't use others showers. This is a well keep city park keep mowed every tuesday.

Rayburn Park, Corp of Engineer

Rayburn Park is on Sam Rayburn Lake, Broaddus, TX ,‎ north of Jasper TX.
Eleven sites on water are 30 amps, 8 sites inner circle is 50 amps and pull through.
No matter where your parked at this park you have a good view.
Google it or Yahoo and you'll see that it's on a point.
This is our favorite park. It's very secluded area, 46 miles to Jasper Walmart
56 miles to Lufkin Walmart. In Hemphill there is a grocery store
Brookshire Brothers very good little store and a few restaurants.
There is a DQ in Pineland and Broadduss has a Dairy Mart.
Also a dinner/store in Powell good hamburgers.

RVERS have asked us what there to do there, relax. So much of the time it's the wife, I and the park manager/spouse is all that is there. We usually go in November, March and April.
Only COE park you can stay a month or longer just not during busy times.
Nice and quite!

I can't say enough how much I love this park. Most campers that come here have been coming
there for many years. Some of the real old timers will even help clean up. Not very many strangers here
great folks..
We used senior pass 50% off

There is two nest of bald eagles here, ones towards sunset and one towards the sunrise. You see them all the time awesome..

Ajax Country Livin

Nice park nothing special, but one I'd stay at for a few days. Very nice owners! Great view of a large pond. Easy on and off, when you get off I-49 it's across the street from truck stop(not a named brand truck stop). I drove past the park and had to found a turn around at Fire dept. Small sign on left. We stayed in a 38foot 5th wheel, GMC dully 3500. Big rig friendly. Good Sam park with discount $26..
