It sounds like a really good park until you get there. About 90% of the park is permanent sites. No Wifi at the park and internet kept bouncing from 1X, 3X to LTE and back again. But the water was the worst thing. Very nasty. Worst I've seen at any CG. Full of rust. Even the camps showers, the shower heads were brown from all the rust in the water. Met some nice folks from Buffalo, New York. We won't be back to this CG. You should get better accommodations for that amount of money.
We are now at S&H Campground in Greenfield, Indiana. What a DUMP...I warn you, do not come here. It's a Good Sams park that does not live up to their standards by any means. After my GS discount, it still cost me $43 for one night, because there's no way I would stay here for two nights. Beware. The lady at check-in was very nice and friendly. That's where it all stops. Surprised I don't hear banjo music.
This park is so easy to find and drive in. A lot of parks have narrow and sharp turns. Not here. Lots of shade. Very wide and spacious spots. A lot of pull thru spots with full hookups. The owners/hosts are super friendly too. Offered us some fresh, warm chocolate chip cookies when we checked in. And the guide you to your site.
Nice quiet park set in a valley of the Smokies. Beautiful view of the mountains. Should be real nice when the leaves change colors. The staff was super friendly. Will definitely be back.
This is a really nice park. Well maintained, friendly staff, nice level concrete pads. Two things we didn't like: campers are really close together and absolutely no shade of any kind. If you plan on staying here, may I suggest the cooler months.
We were directed to this campground by another campground that was full. So glad they did. Very clean, quiet and inexpensive place to stay. Recommend you stay for more than one night. We will be back.
The owner is nice and that's where it ends. The park is not maintained, very noisy and trashy, no shade, does not have cable like it says. Will NEVER stay here again.
