DUMP

We are now at S&H Campground in Greenfield, Indiana. What a DUMP...I warn you, do not come here. It's a Good Sams park that does not live up to their standards by any means. After my GS discount, it still cost me $43 for one night, because there's no way I would stay here for two nights. Beware. The lady at check-in was very nice and friendly. That's where it all stops. Surprised I don't hear banjo music.

Great Improvements!

I read the other reviews before making reservations and was concerned with what they said. To my surprise this park shows many, many improvements. Yes, the roads are narrow but very manageable. The office staff friendly and I always like an escort to our space. We spent 2 nights and saw people working on the grounds everyday. We would stay again. The price was right and passed my three requirements. Safe, clean & convenient.

Will not stay here again

I know the new owners are fixing the park up, but they have a long way to go. There are so many full-time residents that have junked up the place that it is unpleasant. We will not stay here again. The staff was "slowly" helpful but not overly so. There are much better places in the area. Sorry!

OK But 40+ something

Our stay there was pleasant. Staff was helpful and friendly. This campground is 40+ years old and with relatively new management which is making some upgrades. Roads are narrow for new bigger rigs. Many sites are for long term campers that leave their units there permanently. The sites on "the hill" are for shorter term campers. Sites are long pull-thru sites. All sites and roads are gravel. Getting big rigs in and out requires VERY careful attention to the narrow road and to the trees which are right nest to the road and need to be removed or at least trimmed. Many activities for kids. This was an OK place but I probably will not return

Never Again

We'll never stay here again. This is the second worst campsite we have ever had. The electricity was bad; we kept browning out. It's a Good Sam campground and we complained to Good Sam after we got home.
