Not for pet lovers or sleepers

If you are not a pet lover and are not bothered by the sounds of trains throughout the night this is a decent park. However, pet lovers and light sleepers should stay far away. The train noise is often throughout the night. Two pets are allowed with I believe size restrictions but there is that feeling that they are not welcome. Also the area where they are allowed to relieve themselves is outside the wall of the park and is very muddy after any precipitation. To add insult to injury, the office staff we encountered were less than gracious. The park itself seems very decent and appears to have a large availability and participation for activities but pet lovers and light sleepers beware!

Friendly staff; clean, warm restrooms/showers

We were stuck in Oklahoma City during cold and snowy weather with a rig with heat that wasn't working - not a fun situation. We found the staff at this park to be genuinely friendly and supportive and appreciated that very much. The restrooms were very clean and warm which got huge points from us in this situation! The park does have a lot of permanents and it is in an industrial part of the city so it is not what I would consider a destination park. However, if you have need to be in the city or just passing through and not there specifically for the camping experience, it meets needs just fine. There are also trees for shade if you are there during warm weather.

Nice park

This park is more of the camp-type setting that we enjoy. There is a small fenced area for dogs which is a nice feature as well. The showers and restrooms are very nicely maintained. The showers are in fact individual bathrooms with nice size shower, toilet and sink with a private door for each. There are separate restrooms as well. It's a bit out of town at exit 66 on I-40 (the exits closer to town start approximately about exit 53). However, if you like more of a campground type setting it is a great option. We were just passing through so were just overnight but definitely would return. They also have the PA discount which is applicable for two nights.

Affordable

This is a decent park that is near the highway though we were tired enough that we didn't notice highway noise. If you need/want 50 amp and you will be potentially arriving after the office closes, be sure to clarify where the 50 amp spaces are. I still am not sure. We called ahead to make inquiries but did not make a reservation per se. That was a big mistake as when we arrived the office was closed and we could not locate 50 amp spaces. I could not locate them the next morning either. There is also no indication of where they are on the park map which was available. If you are prepared for this it is a decent park for an overnight or a short stay to explore the area, and definitely the price is very good with PA discount.
