Classic Route 66
Stayed 2 nights. Large gravel sites. Clean swimming pool. Decent WIFI. Camping World and La Mesa next door.
Broke down in New Mexico
my truck broke down and we were only planing to stay one night but ended up staying four nights great staff members here they worked with us on the number of nights we needed to stay but this park did not have a play ground for the kids only negative thing I can say
Affordable
This is a decent park that is near the highway though we were tired enough that we didn't notice highway noise. If you need/want 50 amp and you will be potentially arriving after the office closes, be sure to clarify where the 50 amp spaces are. I still am not sure. We called ahead to make inquiries but did not make a reservation per se. That was a big mistake as when we arrived the office was closed and we could not locate 50 amp spaces. I could not locate them the next morning either. There is also no indication of where they are on the park map which was available. If you are prepared for this it is a decent park for an overnight or a short stay to explore the area, and definitely the price is very good with PA discount.
Convenient and Affordable
Not a bad place to stay if you don't mind being near the freeway and 8miles from downtown. Management is friendly, sites are level and the facilities are clean (although the hot tub was broken when we visited). Don't expect a lot and you won't be disappointed. If you have a Passport America card, the rate is incredibly affordable.
