We booked here because our normal place in Durango was fu.l. The reservation system was unusual and they don?t take a credit card to reserve a site. You have to send a check and the cancelled check is your reservation conformation.
Our site was shady with large trees but was a little tight for the class A. The site next to us was opposing so we shared a common area with our neighbors. Not my favorite configuration if you want to sit or cookout in somewhat of a private area. The park is good but the layout of the campsites made it feel cramped for me. We didn?t use the laundry or showers so I can speak about them. Overall an ok place but I?ll look at other options on the next trip.
Small, quaint park outside of Roswell with a cool farm feel. All spaces are back in with full hookups. Strong WiFi. Owners are friendly and had no issues with our late arrival. Did not use the laundry our shower facilities so I can?t speak about them. We would stay here again.
This is a very nice place to camp. The spaces are concrete and have a picnic table and grill. The shower and laundry facilities are modern and kept very clean. The pool area is nice as well. I was impressed with the maintenance staff as they were alway on "patrol" and ensuring the bathrooms were clean and any trash was picked up. We planned to stay only one night but stayed another since it was so nice.
We really enjoyed our stay at this park. The spaces were paved and had plenty of room to accommodate a big rig with space left over to park a second vehicle. The pool was great and not too deep for the kids to play. The staff is friendly and provided us good information about things to do in the area.
The facility is located across the road from the beach and close to access roads where you can drive onto the beach if you want. This facility is great if you are looking to escape from the hustle of Galveston which is a short 30 minute drive away. Be careful if you are driving over from Surfside as the toll gate on the bridge is narrow and was a tight squeeze for our rig.
Make sure to visit The Strand Historical District if you travel into Galveston.
We notified them we would be arriving late and they had an information packet waiting for us on the door. The park is nice and quiet and convenient to I35 and Texas Motor Speedway. We didn’t use the facilities but the campsite was very clean.
This is the third time we've stayed at this park, the second on this trip. The thing we love most is the wide, paved spots. The showers are also very clean. Easy access from I 40 with a Loves Travel stop. We camped here in a 40ft 5th wheel.
This campground is conveniently located off of I40 with easy access from the highway. An attendant lead us to our paved, 50 amp pull through site. The shower facilities were clean and the camp store was stocked with a good amount of supplies. We would stay here again
This is our third time staying at this park. We like the location and find the showers and laundry facilities to be clean. The sites are good sized and there are plenty of big rigs staying here.
This is a no frills, no bells or whistles place to stay overnight. The camp is located behind a car wash and is basically full hook ups is a parking lot.
I called to notify them I would arrive late. The owner met me at midnight to help back me into the slot. This us a good place to rest overnight.
We enjoyed camping here. The staff was friendly and the restrooms, showers and laundry facilities were very clean. The creek runs through the park and there is a pond for the kids to fish. We had a nice back in space for our travel trailer. We will stay here again when we come through.
