One of the best I have seen in Illinois. Large sites are available, ours was 50X75. There are lots of shaded sites, many large oak trees and some open sites as well. They have GOOD WiFi service. They do NOT take credit cards. Small doggie park and chickens running around the park. 32.50 a night for week stay.
Recommended. Park is nice, clean W/friendly employees. Only, negative is internet. Sometimes so slow it won't access server, they time out first so you really don't have internet access. All good after that, showers are warm & clean, grounds are clean.
Lake Chicot State Park-just got here and stayed 1 night of 4, so will write a better review later. First impression is good, road in was a bit small. I will research if there is a better way in. Much rain w/high water but RV area F is good without standing water. Lake and (pecan?) trees are very nice.
