We stayed here a week passing through. This is a small, nonfrills campground. But the location makes it easily accessible to all the things to do in Pigeon Forge.
It does have a fenced in dog run. And the kids swam in the creek and had fun.
Downside is our youngest had his bike stolen the last day we were there.
There are a lot of school kids we found out that walk by the park. We had 3 bikes out there and the youngests was taken.
If you stay on the edge of park, make sure to lock up valuables.
This campground is very much out there. Our big rig made it down the roads (which were a little narrow and scary, especially when raining) but we wouldn?t necessarily do it again.
Upon arriving at the campground we checked in and the lady at the front was very nice and personable.
Our site was across a little bridge and our site up a hill and rather unlevel.
If we were pulling something a little smaller, it wouldn?t have been an issue, but the little bridge was probably not cut out for our rig.
Lots of full timers (which is a great place if you like up in the Va mountains and fairly remote) and people hiking the trails.
They do have a small campground store and cook to order so that was nice.
We stayed here for a week. Like the previous reviewer said, entrance is a little confusing as it is also an entrance for the amusement park.
But this is a lovely park. Very pretty, big trees and a park and Gaga ball pit for the kids. Lots to do in area and on some evenings the Amish drive through on a horse and buggy and sell their wares.
We bought Fresh eggs and homemade root beer the kids loved it.
Would definitely stay again if we ever go back through!
We stayed here for 2 weeks. It fit our 41 ft rig nicely. Staff nice and helpful.
Was able to do Grand Tetons and Yellowstone from here.
A tad pricey, but the only one in area with full hookups and fit our rig.
Since you?re not too near anything and in a Nat?l Park, it?s nice bc there is a small grocery store and places to eat within walking distance.
Stayed as an overnight stop.
Very nice ladies in office and easy pull through to park our big rig.
Con: had to pay extra for our dogs.
Pretty park, big trees!
