Additional Pet Information:

While in the park, a dog or cat poses a real danger to wildlife and may disturb other visitors. In order to help keep our parks open to pets, responsible pet ownership is the key. While in the campground, no excessive barking, especially during “quiet time” (10 p.m to 7 a.m.), will be permitted. Never leave your pet unattended either outside or inside a camping unit. The leash law will be enforced at the campgrounds. Please don’t forget you are required to clean up after your pet.

Very nice campground.

All sites are now paved and all have full hookups. New shower and bath facilities. No laundry or wifi but a very very nice place with wonderful walking paths around the pond. Would definitely stay here again.

Lums Pond State Park

I've stayed here a few times while traveling along the I-95 corridor. Its about 8 miles south of I-95 in a nice wooded area. The campground is on the southern side of Lums Pond and set in a field. The sites are well spaced and some may not be too level. There are only 5 sites with electrical. Generators can be run during select hours. The bath house is fine and typical of what you'd find in a nice state park. its quiet and a convenient place to stay over.

Some sites may be on grass and can be muddy if there's been recent rain. We stayed in the fall and paid the non-resident fall rate for an electric site.
