We have stayed twice in this park on our way south. The spaces are all concrete pads and are level. Cable connection is at the site at no cost. They have upgraded the WiFi since we were here last (2007) and it is free; don't even need a password to connect. The bathrooms are among the best ever. There are 4 for the 27 spaces; each has a huge shower, a toilet, and a sink. Very clean. Very bright. There are 2 washers and 2 dryers and a lounge (in the same building as the laundry and bathrooms) with a TV, pop machine, soap machine and 3 small tables with 2 chairs each. The building is open 24 hours a day.
The park is right on the Mississippi and you can see barges going up and down the river. But there is no wading, swimming, or fishing allowed. The casino is right next door but very easy to ignore.
When we got here the first site we picked didn't have any electricity. We tried 5 more sites and 2 of them didn't have electricity. Don't know what's going on; maybe somebody lost money at the casino and got angry. The RV park is on the river side of a concrete floodwall so you can actually see the river and it has a measure of privacy because it is separated from the main casino parking lot.
An old earthen dike has been turned into a quarter-mile nature trail, complete with interesting story boards covering nature and local history. Saw a beautiful red fox as we walked the trail in the morning.
