Resort living
A first class RV resort with every possible amenity available, especialy for the kids. This place is really big and spread out, golf carts are available for rent to assist with getting around. Sites are all paved, mostly level, there are no trees. Cable tv hookup is provided, satellite antenna will work at just about every site. Wifi worked well most times. The park is convenient to attractions nearby including the cities of Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Holland, and the Lake Michigan shoreline parks. Very quite overnight, there is a highway nearby but the park is far enough away that we didn't hear any highway noise.
Several activities are ongoing on a daily and weekly basis, visitors can participate as much or as little as they like. Many activities are focused on kids and with our visit during the summer season there were a lot of kids in the park. The park has quite a few rules including guidelines that restrict the age and type of RV; no tents are allowed.
It's expensive to stay here; the daily rate listed below reflects the rack rate for a 30 amp back-in site. Good Sam discount is available, as well as a first time visitor discount. We stayed here 4 nights in a travel trailer and would visit again.
Very nice place
Very nice campground..as in..no pop ups, no tents etc. Very nice clean 5 star campground.
Observations from visit to Hidden Ridge
I have not stayed here but have visited it to decide if I wanted to stay here. All impressions gained on the visit are that this is probably one of the very best RV sites in Michigan. Facilities and grounds are new and first class. Staff I tslkrd to were very friendly and helpful. My reason for visiting was that I was going full-time in the RV and wanted to explore seasonal/summer stay options in the Kalamazoo, MI area. Ultimately I did not stay here because of the price.
RV's must be at least 22 feet and not older than 10 years. This is very nice location with excellent facilities.
