KOA Warrenton OR
Love this campground. They have everything 2 pools indoor and out hot tubs, wonderful playground, store, even a dog playground. It?s a bit expensive but we think it?s worth it.
I could always rely on KOA until I got here. The roads are dirt, the sites are terrible, see photos. The trees we low they needed trimming so that they didn't mar my RV. We were so close together, it was discussing like sardines. I have been RVING since 1980 and this was bad! The cell signal was not good. The internet is average compare to other campground. Let me reiterate this is bad!
Terrific Park with a good location
It was a great place to spend a few days. The park is well maintained, with paved roads and sites. Not all sites are 100% level, but are wide enough for a RV with slides on both sides. (We were in a class A with a tow). Don't expect your satellite to work as the sites are fully surrounded by trees. But there is cable available. Wi fi worked pretty well, easy to connect, and pretty good speed considering the potential traffic. Facilities included a pool, spa, store, and even a pizza place on site which delivers to your site! $12 for a 12 inch pizza, no limit on toppings! People were courteous, and friendly, and busy!!! Besides picking up your trash very morning, they were constantly mowing, trimming, and cleaning. We used the laundry facilities which were both large, 8 washers and 8 dryers in just one of 3 three facilities. The park is quiet, with security as you enter and leave. The park is closely located to Astoria, (about 12 minutes away by road and small bridge. It is also right across from Fort Stevens State park. Take time and visit, we enjoyed it. Beach access, an old shipwreck and historical fort emplacements. There is a Costco, and Fred Meyer close by, both with gas stations an RV can get in and out of easily. We were here for 2 days and would return again! We paid $63 a night. $53 for the park, $2 pet fee, and. $8 resort fee.
nice campground in great area
We stayed here two nights (Feb. 18 and 19) and were very pleased with the campground on all fronts: location, cleanliness, general ambience/appeal. It is across the street from Ft. Stevens State Park, which is worth visiting - not just a great park on the coast, but it also has an historical museum and old military installation dating back to the Civil War. The KOA campground is nicely situated - it has some sites with trees, some on an open field. You do not feel like you are in a a parking lot! Some are pull throughs, some not. There is a tent village and some cabins. Bathrooms are great - clean, warm, well maintained. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
Only 10 or so rv's and campers there.was very nice and quite.heated pool and bathrooms very clean.and free b-fast in the morning.well you get two pancakes better then nothing.best time to go is now.
