Great place

Everything was top notch. Clean, fun activities, nice staff and excellent wine tasting area, but you'll need to drive or get a ride to it since it's really spread out. Great value too. We haven't been RVing long but have stayed at 9 different campgrounds, and this is now our favorite. We will definitely be back.
Price was based on 2 adults, 2 kids & 1 dog

Too expensive

Very nice and clean campground but it's way overpriced. We have found campgrounds that offer the same things, just as nice for 1/2 the price. The beach is not an easy walk away, and the noise off the 101 was loud. The coffee at the office/store was $2.25 a cup which had been free at other campgrounds. At $90 a night you would think they could through in a cup of coffee.
Pretty place, but we've been to better for a lot less.

Great for visiting Santa Barabara

For this campground, it's all about location. That means city, not park setting. We picked Sunrise because we wanted to visit the city of Santa Barbara, not hang out in the RV park. It's very clean grounds, laundry room and showers. The manager was very nice and helpful.
It's easy to get around the city from here with options like walking, taxi, bus and even a shuttle down by the waterfront.
It's right next to the freeway, but the "sound wall" kept the noise down pretty good. After staying here, we went to the overpriced Ocean Mesa and believe it or not, the sounds of 101 were louder there.
If you aren't looking for nature and realize you are in the city, you shouldn't be coming up unpleasantly surprised.
Con: Pulling in and out of the sites is tight.
Cost: $65 for 2 adults, 2 kids and 1 dog.
We liked this place, thought it was a good value and will go back again.

Nice place

We're locals and camp here often. Lots of things to do with a lake for fishing in, a pool, hot tub, splash zone in the recreation park but not close to the camp site. It's a 2 night min, and the price I paid were for both nights.
