Good campground

We stayed here for just a couple of nights while we went to the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. Likely most of the campground is older with seasonal, but it has a newer section at the entrance with fairly spacious sites, which is where we stayed. Sites were not long but were pretty level. We stayed in a 32? fifth wheel but longer campers might be challenging. The people who run it couldn?t be nicer or more helpful. Water pressure was good, electricity sufficient. We would stay here again.

A Last Resort Option

I was very disappointed with the Oak Creek facility. The sites are shoehorned together, not level, with non existent space to park your vehicle. It was also covered in mud due to recent extended rains. Understanding they can't control the weather, they can maintain the property in such a way that customers can get in and out on dry, level sites.

A much better option is the nearby Big Bone Lick State Park. It's 9 miles off the interstate down a winding country road, but the facilities don't even compare; it's soooo much better. Try it first before going to Oak Creek.
