The Longer We Stayed, the More We Liked It

After reservations at another RV Campground fell through, I managed to get a reservation for what I am convinced was the last available campsite on the Gulf, over the 4th of July 2014. PRVP is not directly on the beach (which we later discovered was a very good thing). It is in a high traffic area of Ft. Walton Beach, but was surprisingly quiet. It's a little older, with lots of long-term, permanent residents. Everyone we encountered was friendly, but respected our privacy. The bath house is amazing. Easily the nicest, secure bathroom and showers we have ever seen on out camping adventures. There is a great little bakery, right at the exit. There is also a breakfast/lunch restaurant in walking distance. We made use of the produce market (also within walking distance). PRVP is across the street from a Lowe's, WalMart, Sam's, and Winn-Dixie. This all proved very convenient to our activities over the long weekend. Ms. Jane (manager) and Mr. Pete (maintenance) were friendly and very helpful.
