We were hesitant to stay here after reading the other reviews. Got to say though, if you see on a map that the campground is right next to a highway, expect highway noise. (And don't complain). This is an average KOA. Gravel sites, some trees. It does have a nice off leash dog run which we really like after a long day on the road.
This RV park is actually called Mountain Shadows RV park. It is probably the best one in this area. There are several hole in the wall ones that we passed. This one has nice tables, nice pull throughs, Trees and grass between sites. Just passing through and would stay here again if we in the area again.
Stopped for an over night. Friendly people. Nice sites with grass between them and some trees. The spot on the RV Parking app is not correct, it is a little further down the road. They have a fenced area for running road weary dogs. Very nice.
We have stayed here twice now, and only because it is convenient to LA. The only decent row is A. B is a close second, but the place is cramped and all of the other areas are full of permanent RVers whom the park has allowed them to put up car ports, porches, sheds and other non-temporary RV looking things. This is not good for a good RV park vibe. The staff is very nice and the pool and hot tub are nice. The place has potential if they could just make their permanent residents not look so permanent, and made them park so the didn't stick out onto the road, making it difficult to pull a big 5th wheel thru. This place is much better than other parks nearby.
This is a gem of a park near LA! The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that our Verizon Phone reception is spotty and there is no WiFi at the campsites.
