We recently attempted to stay here based on location alone. We only needed to stay 2 nights since we were moving cross country and just wanted to spend a day off the road and stretch our legs. They had a 3-day minimum, but I was told they have spots available for people who stop overnight (which was what we were doing - we weren't vacationing) after being told I couldn't make a reservation and they wouldn't allow us to only stay 2 nights (but one night was ok) we booked down the road at Greenbriar (great place!!) as we drove by we saw plenty of open sites at twin creeks... I won't be giving this campground my business for any future visits!!
We stayed here on a whim during a trip from Texas to Maryland. We decided to spend an extra day in Gatlinburg, the park is close to attractions and our site was right on the water! The owners were very helpful, we'll definitely be staying here again!
The sites need some work, but the new owners are clearly trying to update the park. We stayed overnight during a trip from Texas to Maryland and I'm really glad we did! It's a route we'll take frequently to visit family and now I know we have a reliable place to stay!
