Well worth the side trip

Locate 6 mi. Off of Rt 158 East from Camden NC headed towards OBX. We camped in a 34' Winnebago. The last 2 miles on Garrington Road is just a Tad tight and could be eventful if you meet a departing rig. After you reach the park you are greeted and guided by a very helpful staff. The Office store is very adequately stocked and prices are reasonable. The campground is gated and secure. Allof the sites have a concrete patio pad with a large barrel planter and very nice table (Nice) We have a Motorhome and were guided in front first which
Provided an excellent view of the large lake. The sites are 30 and 50 amp, wired correctly and Sewage and Water are convientlly set up and easy reach. The pool is small but very well maintained and landscaped. Flying critters are abundant in the evening and enjoy your company,a repellant is highly recommended .Wifi and cable TV . Showers and laundry very clean.Screened recreation and activity building looks like a New enhancement. In all, the Campground is a very nice facility. While there we also topped off our LP. They are remote, but they make sure they have what you may need right there. We will definitely be back.?They are also Good Sam and we camped for $36/fullService.
