Great Community of RVrs

Larry and Penny Thompson Campground is attached to a Miami-Dade county park with walking trails, water park and fishing. The back end of the RV park is next to the zoo. The only way a person can tell you are in metro-miami is when you here the occasional emergency sirens.

The Larry and Penny has a reduced monthly rate which creates a community of RV's that help each other and participate in campround activities.

CONS
The sites are close together and pullthrough spots are limited. We had a 36' Class C which was difficult to park in the two times we stayed there.

Wi-fi is advertised, but it is available only at the clubhouse and perhaps in a couple of spots in the adjoining pod.

Lack of trees in the RV park.
