We have had a "long term" site due to my husbands short term work in the area. We did a thorough review of all of the parks before coming here. We picked this park based on (1)atmosphere (2)gated (3)cleanliness. We were NOT looking for a resort park.
This park has a nice green space to walk or run and play and soccer and volleyball and a small playground. A dog park. A sitting garden area to sit and relax. A pavilion and a pergola with fire pit and convertible benches.
These are the cleanest restrooms/showers and laundry we have EVER seen in a park. They are on the Bayou Teche and there is a dock with seating to fish or relax.
The staff is super friendly and helpful. The trash is picked up daily and there are plenty of bins located around the park. There is also a cabin for rent on the grounds and it is cute. Our family has stayed there multiple times.
Very nice. Beautiful wooded grounds. Location is about 200 yards (meters) from I-10, so you hear the traffic while there, however it is not overbearing. The owner and her daughter are very friendly (what else would we expect in Acadiana?) and helpful
Clean friendly easy access. Just what we needed for an overnite stop. Lot of road traffic on highway but that tends to happen when you just want to get off the road for some sleep.
We stayed here while visiting the area. Its near the highway and there is some highway noise. The sites are gravel and level with full hook-ups. Its pretty basic and there are some seasonal people staying in the park.
The lady who owns the park is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The bath house and laundry are one of the best I've ever seen. They're kept super clean and decorated with antiques. The owner has quiet a flare for decorating.
The park is convenient for visiting historic Breaux Bridge or exploring the Cajun prairie. I would stay here again.
Very nice park. Lots of room between sites. Bath and restroom exceptionally clean. Dog park also. Will def come back. 34' fifth wheel
