Ancient redwoods RV park
This is a great park very clean very well-managed very simple they pick up your trash at your rig 2ce a day , Centrally located I would highly recommend it.
Nice stop on the Avenue of the Giants
Nice Park. Clean facilities, friendly staff. Short distance from main 101. No noise.
Great park great location
We were so happy that we found this park it was a great location for us to travel on Avenue of the Giants. It is privately owned and the people are so nice. They have a great gift shop plus a little store for things you might need. If you have AT&T you can forget phone service but they do have a booster for Verizon and one other carrier in the gift shop.
New facilities and friendly owners
This is a good location for exploring the Avenue of the Giants. No shade, but all new facilities.
Ancient redwoods RV park
Very clean. Very quiet. Would definitely stay here again.
Great Park
This park is great with easy access to the Redwoods! Cell service for AT&T is non-existence but we all need to take time away from our phones and enjoy family! Great wifi and close access to the river!
Close to Nature
Its just in the heart of "Avenue of the Giants". This park is very clean, quite and spacious, but only one shower and restroom for the entire park, we used our shower in the RV. The staff is very friendly and their gift shop has a lot of stuff to take home. Wifi connection is ok but you need a code from the office. I can recommend this place to anyone.
Good campground - might stay again
Plenty of space, well kept restroom and shower (single shower unit for entire campground).
Let us pick our space, and the staff are friendly and great. The campground is in a clearing and sits in open sunlight dawn till dusk (no trees at the sites over a couple years old).
No fire grates, and only round plastic tables as opposed to picnic tables. Grounds are well kempt.
WiFi was spotty (on and off and on and off) for both days (3 nights) we stayed. And the office closed at 5-6pm and the staff goes home.
I realize it's the middle of the Redwoods, but for this kind of $$ ($40 day W/O Good Sam's) I'd expect a bit more of the ammenities. We didn't even discover that there was ONE SHOWER unit (thought there were none) till we overheard a conversation at the office our last day there.
Not on the map...
Great Place - Beautiful setting
This park is nestled among the giant redwood trees along the Avenue of the Giants highway. It is a fairly new park with new paved roads and paved level sites. The hosts were the most friendly and accommodating people that we have ever met. The park is super clean and very quiet. Not crowded but not too many people know about it yet. We stayed for 2 nights and would definitely return. Where else can you be 30 yards from the giant trees. We camped there in a motorhome.
