Exceptional KOA
Wonderful KOA! Exceptional staff; clean, modern bathrooms/showers; well maintained facilities and amenities.
Campground recommended
Stayed overnight. Grounds and all facilities are super clean. Sites are a bit to close. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location is about 1.5 mi from the Grand Ole Opry and about 30 min to downtown Nashville. We had a standard site that was all gravel and would of been muddy if it had rained during our stay. If rainy weather one of the premium site would be a better choice.
Great Customer Service
We got our reservation dates wrong when we made them and arrived a day early. They made needed changes without any problems since they extremely busy.
if resort status - need a dog walker recommendation
Park and restrooms are very clean and well maintained. There is an obvious difference between the "premium sites" and "regular sites". Premium are well landscaped, close to amenities and more spacious. We stayed in a "regular" site and still had to pay $63 per night. When we called in advance to inquire about a dog walker, the phone answerer was rude - "we don't do that" I reiterated if they have someone they recommend. "No." I can't imagine why they have "resort" in their name and are close to such a tourist city that they can't recommend a person or 2 for this service.
Camping world about 1/2 mile down road.
Awesome, will stay again !!!
This was a great park. Very clean and we found the staff to be great, they were very accommodating when we asked to stay an extra night. Our spot was a bit expensive but we have a 42 ft diesel pulling a vehicle so we needed a big lot plus the lot was 50 amp, paved with a patio so that was why so much more in cost. We made same day reservations so had to take what was available. We enjoyed our stay!! (An added bonus was the HUGE dog park about 3 miles up the road)
Nashville KOA
Expensive but a nice park. 10-12 miles to downtown Nashville but it is about as close as you can get to Opryland and Opry Mills. Other parks that are $30 a$40 less are another 5 - 10 miles out. Has good Wifi and good grass with dog waking areas.
Great location and friendly
After the flood in 2010, this park has done a great job with rebuilding and keeping things clean. The bath houses were excellent. The Wifi had a great signal though could be a bit slow at times. I have a 45' Newmar Essex and I found plenty of room to pull in and drive around. Only wish there were more sites available for monthly stays.
Great location
The park is expansive and roomy. We found our experience comfortable. The staff was very nice, but don't expect a lot of help if you're a first timer from the staff. They rely on a mobile RV service guy named Randy who is very nice and knowledgable and courteous. Clean and recently remodeled bathrooms and showers. 24 hour laundry and arcade. Cable may have worked but we learned do NOT turn your internal power booster on. This degrades the signal. Wifi is a bit tricky but workable.
