Wanted to book a site for a week for our 45' class A. We require 50 amp power, especially with 90+ temperatures. These folks wanted a 50% Non-refundable deposit to book the reservation. However, they would not guarantee 50 amp service even with an advanced reservation. I explained that I would not be able to stay there if the power was 30 amp. I asked what would happen if that happened? They said the deposit was non-refundable. " It is our Policy!"
Best advice - go somewhere with reasonable business practices. Obviously not here.
An ownership park for newer class A motor homes. Nice amenities, beautiful pools, community center, and landscaping. Problem is that the sites are too small and cramped together. In order to park a 45' coach with space for the car, you need to back the coach to where the back of the coach is overhanging the lawn. Site pads are only about 25' wide with about 10 ' between sites. At $80,000, a bit pricey for what you get. Internet is virtually worthless unless you want to pay extra for better service. Better choices nearby.
Now Crossing Creek RV Resort. It is an ownership park that has transient rentals available for now. Nice wide concrete pads. Wide roads, great internet, nice facilities. Excellent choice for big rigs.
Pretty far from everything. Gravel sites with some long ones for big rigs. Road leading to this place has a 10 ton load limit which requires big rigs to risk a ticket to get here.
A very nicely maintained park. Not much around park to do. Burlington is 20 mi away. Wi-Fi was very weak. Used a fall deal they had we here if you stayed 2 nights the 3rd was free.
Very large and woody park. Satellite can be tricky to get because of woods. Lots of bike paths. Very well maintained park. I would go back. Internet weak though
