Deteriorated

We?ve enjoyed several stays here, but no more. Trash, deteriorating permanent rvs, and non functional utilities mean we?ll not return. Staff, while friendly, shows physical evidence of substance abuse. The price is exorbitant, and even at 50% discount rate is marginally acceptable.

Good for overnight

Spacious lots, dirt parking lot with few trees. Good for overnight stay. Hotel looks very sketchy - looks like it has been remodeling for a long time.

Not what previous reviews say it is!!!

There is one men's room and one ladies room that are old converted hotel rooms. FILTHY! The laundry was totally torn apart and could not use. We were charged the full price of $36.00 even though we could not use restrooms or laundry. Had to give a $10.00 deposit to get keys for the bathrooms. We stayed the night and quickly moved to a different park that was cheaper, cleaner and in better part of town. I would NEVER stay there again.

I am very sorry for your experience with our RV Park. As of August 9th we are under new owners and a great new General Manager. We are in the process of doing renovations and hope that you will come give us a try again in the future. Our prices are much lower than the previous owners have charged and people that have membership to Passport America, Good Sam, Aarp etc get discounted rates. We look forward to having you come back in the future.

So very sorry for your bad stay here. As of August 9, 2017 we are under new ownership and a brand new general manager. Rates are much lower and no more key deposits for showers.
We are under renovations and hope you will give us another chance. Then new general manager is a no nonsense lady who is very fair. She is on site and takes no guff from anyone. She will keep you laughing but will put out trouble makers in a heartbeat.

Nice stop along I-10

Arrived mid afternoon and no problem checking in early. Front desk very courteous and helpful. RV lot is behind hotel, but east to find. Lots are on gravel but typical in this part of SW. Access to laundry room and ice machine in hotel next door. Simple stop off I-10 for a one or two night stay

Don't let appearance scare you

This is an adequate place to spend a night or two and have full hookups. Close to I-10, easy on/off interstate, nearby fuel. Very quiet and we felt safe enough here. RV park is behind a motel I would NOT want to stay in from the looks of it but lobby was okay and staff was friendly when we checked in. We did not use their showers. You had to pay a deposit for the shower key. Looked inside the laundry area and was not impressed by that either. We just needed an overnight stop as we were traveling from Arizona to Texas. Our Passport America price was $18.65 including tax.

Nothing fancy but it all works

This was to be a one-night stopover as we headed from AZ to TX. However, in early March the weather in all the Lone Star State was lousy, so we decided to stay for a week. Since we work remotely from the RV during the week, we needed a place with good Internet reception, that was quiet, and near grocery store. Anything beyond that was bonus.
The Coachlight Inn & RV Park is right off I-10 at exit 139. I had called earlier in the day and made a reservation. No cc needed, only my name and cell number. Check in was painless. Our 32-foot no-slides rig with Passat toad easily navigated the level, gravel area RV park. It says there are 33 space, but some (half a dozen) are clearly permanent residents that haven’t been mobile in a while.
It has full hook ups. Free wi-fi, that was easy to access, and that for the most part worked great. We have a hot spot so we’re not reliant. It’s pet friendly. There’s a laundry and showers. The showers – one for men, one for women – are gutted motels rooms accessible with a key you get from the desk for a $5 cash deposit. There’s a slide-bolt latch to prevent other key holders barging in. No frills here. The women’s had concrete floor, nothing beyond a shower curtain and paper towel dispenser. The hot water was plentiful, it as clean the times I used it. Hubby says the men’s shower room was more like an unfurnished room with carpet, but no other amenities. There’s a pool. But I didn't visit it.
All size of rigs parked here. Each space comes with a picnic table and plenty of space to park an accompanying vehicle.
Shopping, a variety of restaurants, abound. There’s even a good view of the Organ Mountains. The historic Village of Mesilla is less than a 10-minute drive. Known for its La Poste de Mesilla restaurant, being the place where Billy the Kid was hanged, and much more. As I said, nothing fancy, but it all worked. Passport America discount got our first 2 nights at $18.65/night and $36/night thereafter.
