Good RV park & getting better

We had a 30-amp f/h/u site. Great free WiFi. Good over-the-air TV and our Verizon worked well. The new owners are doing lots of improvements and the park manager Luan is doing a great job here. Very pleasant. This is an older park so the sites are too small but the view of the water makes it worth it. Located in a quiet neighborhood right in town. We?re here to sightsee in the area as we?re passing through Wisconsin.

Nice campground for a family with kids

We spent 1-1/2 weeks here and would stay again if in the area. Very nice people who run this park as well as friendly campers. Fills up on the weekends but still not as noisy as you?d think because we were in a pull-thru a little ways from the pool & playground but still easy walking distance. The showers/restrooms were old but adequate & spotless when I used them once. Yes, there are portapotties throughout for the convenience of the tent campers but there are also regular restrooms if you don?t have full hookups. Big game room (which I just peaked in). Small but clean & reasonably priced laundry area. Be warned that the campground is on a dusty gravel road even though it?s only 1-1/2 miles from Interstate 70.

Good place and quiet

Stayed four nights (two at $18 and two at $36). Lots of TV channels---both satellite and antenna. Big level sites big not much shade. We did laundry (decent facility and prices) but didn't use their showers. Very convenient to see the colonies and 15-20 minutes to grocery store and outlet mall. Would definitely stay again.

City owned campground

Nice enough park but don't depend on your Garmin to get you there. RV park is off Tenth Street (not Avenue) near the city park. Look for signs. We stayed in a 36' MH.

Good Park

Nothing fancy but a good place to stay, especially if you are a Passport America member. We paid $16.50 nightly including tax. Good wifi and the laundry area looked good but we didn't use it. Owner was very friendly. There is no shower/restroom but all sites were full hook-ups. We got 3 over the air TV channels real clear. You can hear the train but not bothersome. Otherwise quiet.

Great RV Park

Stayed 3 nights. Convenient location to sightsee in Natchez. Enjoyed watching barges on the river. Laundry facilities are some of the best I've seen at an RV park. Didn't use the pool or hot tub. Great free wifi.

Nothing to write home about

Don't stay here unless you are an Escapees member and can get the $15 per night Escapees price for a full hookup. It's worth that but no more. We were sightseeing in the area so it was okay for a few days. No cable TV or wifi but lots of over-the-air channels. The showers and laundry weren't very nice either. Washers were $3.50 but I dried our clothes for $1. Highway noise and train were loud during the day but not so bad during the night.

Great for overnight or a few nights

This is a former KOA on I-10 just east of town. Easy on and off the highway and road noise was not noticeable (we were in site 6). Yes, the park has some cats but they are skittish not wild. There was a dog sleeping in the office when we checked in. Apparently they love their pets and provide for ours, too. Large fenced doggy area. Pool looked fine but no one in it due to outside temps in the sixties. Playground for the kids and large grassy area to run around or toss a Frisbee. People were very friendly. The cafe was closed and the staff served us free pizza and drinks at 5:30. So nice not to have to cook and clean up or go back into town to eat even if it was only carry out pizza. We stayed in a 36' motor home and did not have to unhook our small car.

Don't let appearance scare you

This is an adequate place to spend a night or two and have full hookups. Close to I-10, easy on/off interstate, nearby fuel. Very quiet and we felt safe enough here. RV park is behind a motel I would NOT want to stay in from the looks of it but lobby was okay and staff was friendly when we checked in. We did not use their showers. You had to pay a deposit for the shower key. Looked inside the laundry area and was not impressed by that either. We just needed an overnight stop as we were traveling from Arizona to Texas. Our Passport America price was $18.65 including tax.
