Horrible,Noisy and a Scam!
Not sure why people are reviewing this place as good..First off Unfriendly staff. Needed ice and the girl wouldn't get it Bc we were literally 1 minute after closing time. Told us there's a store down the road. Second,We "upgraded" to a site with deck(laughable deck/upgrade) but the site that was available was on the corner pulling into place. Not suitable for anyone with kids/dogs. After we asked to move, the unfriendly lady said we couldn't get our money back from the upgrade. Third, it is soooo loud. It is smack dab in the middle of 2 highways. Showers are run down with mold, no hot water, and out dated. This place made us never want to stay at a KOA again. Find somewhere else!!
Tight turns for a 45', but pretty!
Very pretty park with cement or gravel pull thru slots for big rigs with a tow. Turns are very tight to get into them, but overall nice. Very friendly staff and took us in with a couple of hours notice.
Nice Park
Read some Google reviews that said the park didn't have sites over 35'....wrong! They have 4 premium sites and we were lucky enough to be able to get one to accommodate our big rig & our tow, with only a 5 hour notice. Also saw some big rigs in the non premium sites. Nice park with woods which our dog loved. Would stay again and recommend.
Has some nice features.....
We stopped here along our trip for 1 night. The park is a ways off the freeway, but the GPS got me there without any issues. The park was fairly quiet, and has lots of birds and squirrels about. The park roads were paved, and level and wide. The spaces were concrete, but only long enough for the my RV, (mine is 38 foot), not the tow. So it made it a bit difficult to unhook as the tow was lower and downhill. They was a wood deck with picnic table next to the parking pad. The office was large, had a good size store inside. They also had ice, and propane is available for sale. There was also a Laundromat inside which was clean and well kept. They also had an ice cream parlor, with quite a few flavors, which we took advantage of after our long drive that day. The people in the office were helpful and friendly. I had some problems with my toad along the way and Remco had shipped some parts in for me to replace. The people in the park had signed for and held the package for me until I arrived. There was a playground and pool next to the office and looked well kept. The park has a lot of trees, and was very shady. There is some grass, throughout the park next to a lot of the spaces. I walked my dog along the fence instead of walking all the way back to the dog run area. And yes, I did clean up after him. The trash dump is next to the office and centrally located in the park. By the way, they are pretty close to shopping and gas, about 10 minutes away. I enjoyed our stay and would go there again. I also recommend this park for others. They are a KOA member.
Very Nice!!
I really like this park. Lot of shade and large spaces. A little more traffic noise than I would prefer but, I like staying here.
