Overnight stop

Definitely only worth an overnight stop. It's on a busy road, right off the HWY. Truck stop for filing up nearby. Pool has no shade. Playground outdated. Piles of their old stuff out in open. Could be a great park with some more cover from the road and updates to the pool, playground and office area. Did not use other amenities. Staff was a couple of teenagers who seemed disinterested in the job. The young lady was polite but certainly wouldn't make me want to return. Customer service is a big deal to me, which includes hospitality. Surrounded by cow pastures which was neat to see.

Trip north

This is the most beautiful campground we've been to yet. The views are amazing, quiet, clean. The owner was on site. They are very attentive and all staff very friendly. Escorted to and helped back coach into site. If we head towards the Smoky Mtns again will definitely consider this one again and will recommend.

One night stay

The RV park is very nice. Many sites. However, we were placed in the most expensive site area (no discount despite going through the Good Sam site) and despite the park practically being empty we were all clumped together and right up by the pool, where there are no trees or shade. There was an additional charge that I couldn't understand and while trying to call the desk to clarify no one answered.

I seem to recall the RVC in Carrabelle, FL did something
similar with their fees.

Customer service is key to my return to the places I visit so not sure about this one.

One night stop.

Nice, clean campground. Not very private though. Too close and open to the hwy. They were definitely customer oriented though. Just because they responded late to an email they gave us 50% off. That makes a place worth promoting. Customer service is almost a lost art. A four only because it's not secluded.

Thanksgiving getaway

Outstanding park. Every site feels private because they are spacious. Many have trees and planting in between. Bathrooms are immaculate. Volunteers are very friendly. There were many long-timers staying and it apparently is encouraged. Tucked away in town. Wouldn't know you're there until you venture out. Would stay again if headed near this location. Near Gainesville and Ocala/within about 30 minutes. Good San rates 10/10/10. We agree.

Columbus Weekend

Amazing RV resort. Very clean. All sites have cement pads. Landscaping between sites. Beach is across the street/easy access. Would definitely consider coming back and definitely recommend it.

Nice surprise in a party city

First time in NOLA. The park looked like it was under recovery as the website photos were not what we found. Nonetheless, though very dusty from unpaved roads, it was a clean park, landscaped between sites and quiet. The restaurant food was alright and the pool was clean. The shuttle into town was nice though had limited schedule. It's tucked away in an industrial part of town but that's hidden from view once in the park. If we ever went back to NOLA we would consider staying there again.

Great park

Beautiful, family friendly park. Near drive thru zoo for the little ones. The water was also very clean for swimming. Would go again.

Ok place

The map was deceiving in that it looked like there was a lot of greenery surrounding the park. Our view was a set of storage units and and old shop. The park is a bit run down: playground, pool, pond docks. Makes it look dirty. Didn't check bathrooms or laundry as we didn't need them. Though in a highway it was fairly quiet and must be near train tracks as we heard a train at night. Woke up to ants all over the interior of the coach. That was not pleasant. Everyone was polite and friendly but we will not return nor recommend. Too pricey for what you get and they did not honor our Good Sam because it was a holiday weekend. With a little TLC. this could be an awesome park as it has many beautiful trees and a great pond. Could put in new kids playground, shade at the pool, better canoes, privatize and cover the unsightly view from the chain link fence.
