Great campground

Super organized and friendly owners. Great location if you are planning to explore downtown attractions. Very busy while we were there but still very quiet & pleasant. Our space was a nice size. We didn't feel jammed in. Clean & comfortable. Would recommend it highly. We were in a 40 ft rv.

expensive and noisy

this was one of the most expensive parks we've stayed at and the road noise was pretty bad.
it is close to the Lincoln Museum and if you stay here the lake pointe grill is a great place to eat.

Close to Springfield

If you are coming to Springfield to visit the Lincoln Museum or the State House or the Dana House or whatever, this is a close RV park. The roads and pads are gravel; it had rained for 2 days before we were there and there was minimal standing water. The pool is small, but it is a pool. There are lots of trees. There is a lot to do--croquet, horseshoes, shuffleboard, tennis. Downside is that is parallels I55 so there is also lots of road noise. They have a pavilion, and clubs and rallies are welcome.
