Large park, mostly long term rentals some full timers. Gravel roads in pretty rough condition. Pads were gravel and ours wasn't particularly well leveled. Pool looked nice but was too far from our site to bother with. Wifi in lounge only.
The park is clean and well cared for. Bathhouse was clean and pool was new and very nice. Park is quite large so you could be far from pool or bathhouse depending on location. We stayed in shaded area, with gravel pads. Pads were reasonably level. We were off season and wifi was very good. Park is very convenient to Calloway gardens and Warm Springs
A few miles off 95 in a quiet backwater. Transient spots are level, partly shaded and mostly pull throughs. Wi Fi is good, bathhouses are small, as is the park, but are new and clean. The whole place is nice and well kept
Transient spots are level and reasonably sized. Bathouses clean and new but small. Seem like a lot of sites full time weekend rentals. Very convinient to visit Weeke Watchee
Park is clean and well kept. Sites are level but a little tight. Bathhouse is small but new and clean. Sites in the front (sections C and D) are close to the road so there is some road noise. Also 10 AM checkout is the earliest I have seen. That being said, location is great, walking distance to several great restaurants in Cortez and a 10 minute drive to Coquina beach on Anna Maria island with ample free parking and access to a great beach.
This is a combo RV park and Trailer Park right on Sanibel. Travelling and permanent residents seem to be well seperated. Bathouses are small and dated but clean. Resturants and beach are within walking distance and everything on the island is bikable
Sites are large enough and level. Staff was nice. Bath houses are being upgraded (I noticed in an earlier review this was the case in April). Open bathhouses were below the levels of my usual experience with Koa. There are a lot of facilities (pool, beach, marina, bar) but given that the campground was mostly empty I thought it was a bit pricey for being 20 miles from Key West.
Shaded, level sites with lots of room to manuever, and privacy in the sites. Walk or drive to two beaches, as well a glass bottom and snorkling boats. What more could you want? Well I guess fewer biting bugs but overall the park was a joy.
