Easy on and off the interstate

Shaded, level sites. Wifi was the worst we've ever had at a KOA. It took 20 minutes to download a 250 MB picture from email. Laundry: $2 per load to wash, $1 per 25 minutes to dry. Most loads (jeans and towels) took 2 drying cycles.

Pricey!

This campground is overpriced! There is nothing special about it or the area to justify $51 a night for water and electric site. Sites are a nice width but very little shade. Site was level. It was over 100 degrees the day we stayed, which is typical for the summer months, so some shade would be welcomed. Restrooms clean but dated. Nice spray from the shower head. Wifi is free but extremely slow and would kick you off.

A favorite while visiting FHL downtown.

This campground is on Temple Ave a short distance from downtown. Sites are about 15 feet apart. Plenty of room for awnings to be used - not that it was needed - there are plenty of shade trees. Restrooms were clean as was the dog park. Others have complained about the train noise. It is a little louder than we are used to living a few miles from a train but did not keep us up or wake us in the morning. No noise from the International Airport a few miles away - planes must take off away from the city. It was nice to have a motorhome self-washing station on the premises after a long drive. We have stayed here many times and never had a problem. Wifi is spotty.

Narrow sites, overpriced

After a LONG, mechanical issues day on the road, we had to make an "emergency" stay at this location. We arrived after hours and had a very difficult time finding the office location to do night registration. We did not use any of the facilities. That said, the sites were very narrow. If we had wanted to put out an awning, we really don't think it would have fit.

Site was level and hookups in the appropriate location for a pull-thru site. Insulation around the water pipe was too close to the threads making attachment of the hose difficult.

We feel this location was overpriced for what we saw.

Cable/Internet issues

We paid extra for a site to have cable and Internet tonight only to be told after neither worked that they are out. Not willing to refund difference for site that neither was offered.

Lots of shade and pet friendly. Narrow roads.

Would stay again

Staff very friendly and helpful. We arrived after office closed and while at night check in, staff arrived to help guide us to site even though it wasn't dark yet. Restroom could use some help. Sites could use leveling.

Close to downtown

Recently spent 4 nights. We typically stay during the summer, so "winter" was different. During the summer the park is near capacity every day. I'd guess it was about 25% of capacity this last week. It is close to downtown (it's why we stay here) and now that the light rail is functioning, you can reach downtown without driving and trying to find parking. Staff always friendly, facilities well maintained. They recently renovated the office area.

worth it

Reasonably priced park near friends we were visiting. Well maintained. Large sites. Friendly staff. Have stayed here twice and would return. only 4 stars since no pool - a feature we enjoy when it is hot in the summer months!
