Although in view of I-80, it was not too noisy and I am a light sleeper. The owners are very nice, the site was level and the WIFI was great. I would use again.
My site was eroded gravel which made it very difficult to level the trailer. But many sites have cement tracks, so I assume they are level. The bathrooms and showers are old but very clean. WIFI was good. Very quiet area.
We have stayed at several RV parks near an Interstate, but for some reason, this is by far the noisiest. Too bad as the sites are level, WIFI is great, the people are very nice and the restrooms and showers are clean. But with the noise, I cannot recommend this place.
This KOA is in town, next to a soon to be completed light rail line. Nicely kept and the people are nice. I am a light sleeper and the freight train line, nor the airport bothered me. However, in cold weather, they turn off the ventilation in the clean men's showers leading to high humidity and smells. Plus there is a long term resident, who leaves the toilets totally gross. Somewhat expensive.
Open year round, the showers are nice and warm on a chilly November. However, they are old and while they are kept cleaned, there is grunge near the edges. There is a bike path nearby to walk the dog, along a stagnant canal. If you have to stay in Klamath Falls this is the best.
I wanted to give them 5 stars. Everyone was nice. But my site came without a picnic table. I guess that is why it cost less than a premium site. WIFI was very slow and my cable TV cut out on us, after looking perfect earlier. Too many long term rentals makes it a bit unfriendly for those passing through. Wonderful clean showers but they need a table. Somewhat close to the trains.
